Biography DJRM has been mixing and mashing up music of all genres since 2002. Starting in the same fashion as most DJ's he was "Bedroom Mixing" annoying parents and neighbours with a constant thud coming through the walls. He played on many Internet Radio Stations such as Network Web Radio and Atomix Radio via an Internet connection to his setup but in 2005 at the age of 18 he decided that wasn't enough anymore. He started to try and get connected with more well known DJ's than himself and MC's too and eventually using the Internet got in touch with the Legend that is MC Kie. He gave RM his first "Break" into the Club DJ Scene on New Year’s Eve 2005 at Club Rise in Grays with the Garage Nation Tour. Following this RM and Kie did many Garage Nation and Pioneers Of the Oldskool Events and with his confidence and skill ever increasing, RM then thought to go for some new challenges. He got in touch with a Modified Car Club called "Street Legal.biz" in 2006 and started touring the UK Modified Car Shows with them playing on their Club Stands and hosting their Events. This gained RM a new audience outside of the Club and Radio area. His popularity grew and his mixes circulated in their thousands across the UK thanks to the Shows. After about a year with Street Legal RM decided it was time to open his options up and work with other Car Clubs so began doing shows with Skill Cruise. During this period of Carshows between 2006 and 2008, RM played on many Essex Based Radio Stations including; KlashFM.com, Riseone.net, Network Web Radio, AtomixFM Web Radio, FNM Radio, ForceFM.net, Saferadio.co.uk, Intobeats.com and too many others to mention and has gained a good fan-base thanks to this. In late 2007, early 2008 he met UK DJ Legend, Richie Don from MTV's Pimp My Ride UK. Their paths crossed when a friend of RM's gave him Richie's contact information and RM got in touch with a "Mashup" he had done of "Gym Class Heroes - Clothes Off". Richie could not get enough of the mix and started playing it in all of his Club, Carshow and Radio Sets. This started a whole new part of RM's DJ career as Richie started asking him to take part in Club Nights he was playing at and many late night Studio Sessions creating Mashups and Mixes. They first joined forces in the Club Scene in early 2008 when they started as residents at Mayhem Nightclub on a Thursday Night for a night entitled "Too Mucking Fuch". This night was a huge success and created some of the Clubs most successful sessions. This also gave RM the opportunity to work with acts such as; N-Dubz, Kano, Sway, DJ Cameo, DJ Q, MC Bonez, Luck & Neat, MC Creed, Montell Jordan, Fattman Scoop, Ne-yo, Omarion, Nathan, Jay Sean and again too many others to mention, this was all due to the Club booking them as live PA's. RM and Richie continued to play at events all over the UK from Car Shows at Santa Pod and Silverstone Raceways to Club Nights at Liquid, Envy, Mayhem, Route, Skybar, Zero 6, Club Rise, Talk, Bar Bluu, Churchill’s and many other smaller Venues and Bars. In late 2008 and especially early 2009 till present RM and Richie really started to take things seriously on the Music Production front and started their "Label" called "4am Sessions". This name was inspired by an uncanny habit of always finishing a Project or returning home from a Gig at 4am... It seemed to happen all the time! They created 8 Mashups ranging from UKG to Dubstep to House and Rnb and put them together to create the 4am Session EP Vol 1 - Summer 2009. This EP has been and still is up for Download at www.4amsessions.com and has received great acclaim from many well known artists such as the Wideboys, DJ Paleface, Rob Da Bank from Radio 1, DJ EZ from Kiss100 and BBC Radio 1Xtra. They have also heard rumors of a DJ Magazine Review on the EP but are yet to see it in the print. Currently you can find RM playing weekly at Route Nightclub in Colchester and SKYBAR in Basildon's Festival Leisure Park both alongside DJ Richie Don. He is also playing on Essex's Biggest Internet Station, ForceFM.net weekly on Sunday morning from 11am till 12:30pm alongside MC Stallion. MC Stallion, Richie Don and RM have also teamed up to start taking on the UK Car Shows as a trio collaborating with the London Modified Collective, Fast n Modded and Max Power, so far this partnership has proved excellent as they received huge recognition after performing at Performance Vauxhall - Santa Pod in the Main Big Top tent and USC - Santa Pod in the Fueler's Bar Tent. Both of these events were amongst the Top 10 Gigs in their opinion and hopefully more like them will be just around the corner!
